Coach Tom Walsh
I have been involved with soccer for my entire life. I've played since I was 5 and have coached for the last 12 years. I've been coaching the Freedom since Dennis and I started 5 years ago. I have a D-License and continue to take coaching classes in order for me to become a better coach and teach the girls to the best of my ability.
I love soccer and my main goal is to provide an atmosphere for the girls where they can improve and learn to love playing soccer as much as I do. We are a competitive team, but I keep in mind that soccer is supposed to be fun for the girls and run the team accordingly. I coach to teach the girls how to play the game, how to improve themselves, and hopefully to love the game as much as I love it. I really enjoy coaching this group of young ladies and have been amazed at how they have evolved, both individually and as a team. Our team is as much of an extended family as it is a soccer team.
